Riviere Sands

On the edge of a sandy bay, Riviere Sands has all the fun you would expect, plus stunning views of the ocean beyond.

This gorgeous stretch of coast makes up part of a necklace of golden beaches which are bordered by the picturesque fishing town of St Ives to the west and fringed by the dunes of Hayle to the east. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months to ensure your safety, while the beach has won awards for its cleanliness and water quality.

The picturesque seaside resort of St. Ives is a former fishing village which has grown into one of the most attractive coastal tourist destinations in the UK. Its main features are an attractive beach, excellent shopping and a thriving artists’ scene.

Just 8 miles from Riviere Sands Holiday Park is St. Michael’s Mount, a tidal island with castle and chapel built upon it that juts out of Mount’s Bay in Marazion. It has a rich history, having been besieged and fought over several times, as well as having survived a tsunami caused by the great Lisbon earthquake of 1755.

The most westerly point in England, and also one of the most southerly, Land’s End is a popular tourist location. From here it’s west all the way across the Atlantic, past the Scilly Isles to the Americas.
