Easily reached from South East or Central England, Essex and the southerly shores of Norfolk isn’t called The Sunshine Coast for nothing. You can come here for 2 entirely different reasons. To explore and enjoy the long, sandy beaches and uncrowded shorelines at your leisure. Perhaps discover the enchanting Waveney Valley, Constable’s Dedham Vale and the tranquil southern waterways of the Norfolk Broads. Then again, there’s no better traditional seaside fun, or beaches, than at Clacton-on-Sea, Brighlingsea or Frinton - or experiencing the wealth of major family attractions and great beaches around regenerated Great Yarmouth. Why not build up a head of steam at Dereham, Colne Valley or Bressingham railways? On or off the beaten track, here’s a sheltered, sunny corner of England waiting to be discovered.

Orchards

A complete contrast to the buzz of nearby Clacton, Orchards setting, near the pretty Essex village of St. Osyth and by the water’s edge, is a haven of tranquillity. There’s plenty of the usual Haven facilities here including a terrific outdoor pool and sun terrace by the Mash and Barrel Lounge-Bar-Café. Plus, there’s also the option to enjoy fishing on one of the two fabulous fresh water lakes or a round or two of golf on the Park’s very own course.

Wild Duck

If you’re looking for a quieter and more laid back atmosphere in lovely mature woodland, Wild Duck is ideally situated just a few miles inland from Great Yarmouth. Trips to the beach are an easy option or explore the Norfolk Broads, by car or boat.

Hopton

A big, green oasis of landscaped leisure, with the major family attractions of Great Yarmouth only a few miles away. You'll love relaxing around the gorgeous outdoor pool, plus there's a large indoor pool with a children's SplashZone and an endless beach for good measure. Hopton's lively but with a relaxed side - try tennis, cycle hire, bowling or golf.

Seashore

Across from a large sandy beach and next to Yarmouth Race Track, Seashore is a front runner for seaside family holidays. Close to the buzzing beach and amenities of revitalised Great Yarmouth, this lively Park offers its own excitement with a great outdoor SplashZone where u can relax and enjoy a drink on the Mash and Barrel terrace.

Caister

Just over the dunes beside the Park, Caister’s giant sandy beach offers endless space for just chilling out, picnics, games, building sandcastles and other assorted beach activities. Back on Park, you can make the most of all that this all-action Park has to offer, from abseiling and fencing to bowling and heated indoor pool. Caister is a big family holiday experience in every sense.
